YOP7 week 13- 3rd skein is a charm

After pulling 2 mini skeins of yarn apart , I found the correct colorway for my cabled headband and only used about 5 inches of it 🙂 lol

the 2 skeins i turned into balls . the ball between the 2 full minis is the one I used.

I love this headband so much!!!!

So as you can tell I bought more yarn this weekend to finish a project. But that was on friday, on Saturday after seeing The Kingsman, back to AC Moore I went and bought all this……

Yes I have a problem..lol I love Stitch Studio by Nicole!! her yarns were $2 each ( SALE!!) and the smaller ones were $1 each. The Red Hearts ( Medley is discontinued according to ravelry 😦  ) were full price $3.49 I think. Ive gone to AC More 3 times this month and finally signed up for a rewards card 🙂

YOP7 week 11

Here we are at week 11 and the beginning of a very busy Halloween season for me 🙂 I will be adding new hats to my etsy shop THIS WEEK, Princess Leia, and a few styles of Pumpkin hats also a surprise hat that I wont be sharing until I am done. I didnt really want to make this hat because of the hair but its actually pretty fun..lol.

Yesterday while Jon was at the theater watching IT I went to A.C.Moore, The Christmas Tree shop and 5 Below ( its like the Dollar Tree but everything is UNDER $5 ).

The only thing I needed was the light pink yarn. My go to yarn has always been Red Heart, but this Studio Classic by Nicole may be replacing Red Heart for me. Its softer, there is more yardage and its less $$$$ , at A.C Moore. I believe its an exclusive like I Love This Yarn is for Hobby Lobby. I also bought some faux fur, cross stitch kits and Studio Samples by Nicole… I couldn’t pass up yarn for a $1 🙂

This bowl I bought at Stop and Shop … Perfect for my yarn balls while I work on the  ‘Ugliest blanket you’ve ever seen’ 🙂  above are the 2 newest squares.

I dont like spiders buts its purple and the spiders aren’t visible with the yarn. I also bought an orange one for our apples .

 

YOP6 week 27

Hi all… I’m back!! 🙂

Sorry for my 2 week absence… I got ran over by the Messy bun beanie bandwagon. 🙂 I got everyone’s orders out for Christmas who needed them by then. My most popular color is Turqua. I now hate the color..lol kidding. I still love it. it is yarn after all . I have a few other designs I need to add to my etsy.

Speaking of yarn.. a fellow local Yopper (Dianna ) gave me a bag of Red heart Unforgettable and Knit Picks yarn . OMG I love every single ball!!

And I made this hat from one of the balls… well it only took  half.
