YOP7 week 7

There isnt much to mention this week.. its been pretty dull.

My WIP for the month, like I mentioned last week, is the Princess Mononoke Pullover. I was able to take a better picture. I need to get needles with a longer cord. These are 16 inches.

The mask is almost complete. About 20 more rows..lol 🙂

My FO’s were actually finished a few weeks ago….

I made an infinity scarf on my purple KK loom. Ive loved this yarn for so long. its by Fancy Yarns. I have no idea what the colorway is.

And lastly, I frogged the Man hat. ugh!!! I got to the decrease and the hat was at a point where I could try it on. Too tight. It broke my heart to take it apart. Do I have any ambition to start over…. does not look good.  Although I love the yarn and the pattern, doing the knit rows hurt my thumb. Must be the thick yarn.
 

 

YOP7 wk 6

I dont have a list for A Year of Projects. What I do have is a bundle I made on ravelry with projects I’d like to make.. someday. Also I’ve planned out 4 big quarterly projects. This quarter, July 1st to Sept 30 is the Princess Mononoke Pullover. Yes I started it in May but it is less than half done and it needs to get done.

This is the best photo I could post since I am in a middle of a row. This was a few months ago. I think I am close to half way done with the graph . When I take better pics I will talk about adjustments I want to make .

There is this group on ravelry that will be making the Sophie’s Universe blanket in October which is great since that is when I plan start my second big quarterly project… fate 🙂  And October is when I will have extra money from the Halloween orders from my etsy shop 🙂 🙂 Yup, I may have to buy more yarn for this project.

For my current WIPS , I am still working on the Man hat. I love how this yarn is knitting up. My YOP friend, Becki told me Saturate by Premier Yarns is discontinued. Which broke my heart 😦 I have one more skein of the color below ( agate) and  2 others (Zinna and Fluorite).  So I will be extra picky when it comes to projects for those.

And for another group (GEMS) I am making a crocodile scarf…. The CAL of the month is the Dragon/Crocodile/Alligator stitch. Where was this CAL when I made the Mermaid Cowl..lol This is the tail.

I could also finish the  crocodile fingerless gloves I started back in January.  We’ll see 🙂

YOP6 week 48

Hello and welcome to another A year of Projects progress post…….

Its another week with no finished projects. Ive been splitting my time with this FRIENDS blanket and the Princess Mononoke Pullover.

I will not start another block until I finish this banner! I am sorta regretting starting with a banner. lol I’ve actually used up all my black and white balls of yarn. So YAY 🙂

This Princess Mononoke Pullover is definitely a challenge. I am hoping to finish the intarsia portion of the pullover this week. I am so nervous I will miss a square and screw up the whole thing.

I am not a fan of knitted color change. There isn’t a simple way to carry the yarn so there are no holes or pulled yarn.

In other news : Jon and I saw Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. It was so good!!!! If you go and see it.. there is a post credit scene you shouldn’t miss if you are a real fan of the movies.

Also I started the Military diet but stopped the day after due to my cold. I will be starting it again in a few days.  ( left to right : Breakfast, Lunch , Dinner of day 1)
