I dont always like what I make but when I do I put them in a list..lol 🙂

 

My first project of 2017 was this messy bun hat….. I still wear it! 

My favorite knitted projects are the Sunset hat and the cable headband.

WIP Wednesday – Edith Sweater

So after a few years of making Edith hats , I caved. I was asked to make an Edith sweater. I have been asked a few times to make one but this year I said yes. I am confident  with my knitting where making a simple sweater wont scare the hell out of me. The pattern is easy enough. Its a paid pattern by Brigette Pini .

I started October 1st but really got into it ( meaning I put hat orders on hold until I make a good chunk of this sweater) on the 3rd .

As of last night I am almost done with one sleeve. I want to have this shipped out by the 16th.

 

YOP7 week 13- 3rd skein is a charm

After pulling 2 mini skeins of yarn apart , I found the correct colorway for my cabled headband and only used about 5 inches of it 🙂 lol

the 2 skeins i turned into balls . the ball between the 2 full minis is the one I used.

I love this headband so much!!!!

So as you can tell I bought more yarn this weekend to finish a project. But that was on friday, on Saturday after seeing The Kingsman, back to AC Moore I went and bought all this……

Yes I have a problem..lol I love Stitch Studio by Nicole!! her yarns were $2 each ( SALE!!) and the smaller ones were $1 each. The Red Hearts ( Medley is discontinued according to ravelry 😦  ) were full price $3.49 I think. Ive gone to AC More 3 times this month and finally signed up for a rewards card 🙂

When sewn this will be 1 of 2 seed stitch fingerless mitts. Another stitch I love.

 

 

WIP Wednesday

Today is a day of favorites which happen to all be on a Wednesday 🙂

On the needles: 

I have learned how to do cables!! I am so proud of myself. They are so easy! I’ve started 2 headbands , so far.  Ive been looking at my yarn , thinking how it would look with cables 🙂

Yarn used:

the first one is Studio Samples by Nicole. no colorway on label.

the gray one is Lion Brand Yarn ( who have been liking  few of my posts on instagram this past week 🙂 ) I think this color has been discontinued so I hope this headband will look awesome.

On the hooks:

Halloween orders have started 🙂 YAY! Again, lots of Edith hats.

And for something new to my shop… something with ringlets! this is a stash slim down project since I am using the Pretty n Pink balls for the ringlets.

On the hairpin lace loom:

MY FIRST PROJECT! Its a braided hairpin lace infinity scarf by B.hooked crochet . I have 1 panel complete and this panel is almost done 🙂 2 more to make. Then the fun braiding.

Yarn used: Red Heart Boutique . color : Stained glass.

YOP6 week 50

So last Sunday I started my Wonder Woman bag. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to make a hat or a bag.( big enough to fit my wallet) . All week I was thinking bag or hat, hat or bag. Wednesday night I chose bag. Its too warm for a hat. Plus I can use this when I see Wonder Woman on Thursday ( BTW I loved that movie. Gale makes a great Wonder Woman ❤ )
