Wow I have 3 finished objects this week. 2 of them I started and finished in one day.
First to be finished is the Fifi scarf. I love this design and I plan to make another soon. I was hoping to use up most of the yarn but I still have a good size ball of Artist Print left. If I was making a crochet project I wouldn’t have enough. I love knitting! 🙂
The next two cowls are using the same yarns just in different sizes. I used Patons ColorWul in Bloom and Red Heart’s Aran. The pattern is called Big Stitch Cowl by Yarnspirations. I love this yarn! 🙂 🙂
I love when I have a WIP to show on Wednesday . 🙂 If you have read any of my A Year of Projects post from this or last month, you would know I am slashing my stash. Too mush yarn for a little space.
Any way I have this ball of yarn from Red Heart called Artist Print. Its so beautiful. But I haven’t had any luck with finding the right project for it. A few days ago I decided it was time. Its a big ball.. a full skein I believe. I looked on ravelry for the colorway to see what it looks up knitted and crocheted .
I found a project called Fifi scarf . I loved it and had to make one for myself. Its a knitted project. Perfect. I am a bit obsessed with knitting at the moment.
Its an easy pattern and with this yarn its working up beautifully. I am at the tricky part. I have to create the “loop” that the other side of the scarf will go through. Ive never had to divide my knitting but it went pretty well. No dropped stitches 🙂 🙂
The picture above shows where I had to divide the stitches. 12 on each needle. I did the k1,p1 ribbing on one half of the stitches last night. Tonight I will cut the yarn and do the ribbing for the other 12 stitches.
