YOP7 week 4

I was going to do the A year of Projects posts every other week so I wasn’t in a rush to get something started or finished to show….. But I have to show off this amazing FO !!!!

Its called Mermaid’s Cowl. I really love this stitch. I used a g size hook instead of the H the pattern called for. The yarn is Caron Simply Soft: Pink Camo. I used all but a little ball of this yarn. Its also not as wide as the pattern. It covers the neck( my mannequin head has a longer neck than I do..lol) .

And for my WIP… Another crochet along by Chaos and Chop Suey.  This one is for Grease. One of my all time favorite movies.  Week one is Pink Ladies. I am at the decrease 🙂 I will finish the other half over the next few days so I do not fall behind 🙂

FRIENDS themed blanket CAL part 1

This CAL is from chaos and chop suey here on wordpress. Ive never been so happy to make anything in my life!! 🙂 I loved the show and I am rewatching it on Netflix while making this blanket. I will be done with show way before I am done with the blanket 😦

The pattern on ravelry is $7 . and soooooo worth it Angela put A LOT of work into these blocks and appliques. Harper Baby Shop  made themed hooks for this CAL and I HAD to get one! My hook is a 4.25 and the hook Angela used is a 4.50 but I rarely use that size hook so I wanted a hook that I will use alot.  This hook is so cool.

My first block is The One with the Banner….

I just started the decrease. This is going to be the longest c2c piece Ive done 🙂 My next one will either be Phoebe’s guitar or the peephole .

I also made some appliques of my own..  The E is for Emma, banana is for Marcel, goldfish is for Eddie and the mustache is for Richard. ❤
