A Year of Projects year 11, week 1

I have returned! I haven’t posted anything since January 2020. Wow! What a year that was. And if you were wondering… I have made it this long with out getting covid 😁

I barely crocheted anything in the past year and a half. Hat orders for etsy and a few C2C projects. One that I have to finish is… if you have read my blog before…. the FRIENDS blanket. I finished ‘ The One with the Magna Doodle’ and I am now working on ‘ The One with Phoebe’s guitar ‘. Yes its blue. I have not seen one like it. And Phoebe actually used a blue guitar . Its on YouTube as Ross scares Phoebe.

I need to close up a few letters.

I like this soooo much!

YOP 8 wk 40

Hi All… I thought I would drop by again 🙂

I dont have much to show. Hopefully that will change in the coming months.

I saw this design on Instagram . The designer hasn’t posted a link to the pattern but since I am not selling what I made I hope she doesn’t mind I made one for myself. Its c2c (corner 2 corner) .

I bought this Dragon Purse pattern a month ago. I thought it was cool although I am not much of  a dragon fan . It uses a stitch I dont use much but love . The Crocodile stitch.

I ran out of yarn BUT I am not frogging this one. When I go to walmart at the end of the week I will get more Mainstays basic yarn. I do want to start another one so I will use a whole skein for number 2.

I love love love this stitch. 

And since its spring I am growing stuff! I started this lettuce (romaine) last week and look at the cute little sprouts! I need to put them in soil soon.

Jon mentioned getting me a mini greenhouse so I can grow more veggies. I’m on the fence about that. I’m a bit nervous that everything will die or an animal gets inside and destroys everything. We’ll see. Do you grow your own veggies? Tell me all bout it 🙂

 

YOP8 Week 36

Back again.

This is too cute! 

Ok so my new plan for my yarn is if its not Halloween season or Christmas I will make baby clothes , booties etc.

Well this week I finished two baby tops.

This Cactus Baby Cardigan is so adorable! I want to make one in my size….. for when I am an old lady…lol The pattern designer asked if it could be featured on her pattern page on  ravelry and of course I said YES! Cactus Baby Cardigan  .

 

Top # 2 is Baby Top Little Lace Tank  . The first one I made is pink since I have so much pink left over from Halloween orders. I plan to make  mint, pale yellow, purple , and gray tops as well.

There are a few sweaters I want to make , its still winter in most parts after all. Booties are next also.

 

YOP8 week 33

Well hello there … its been a while. How have you been?
I’ve been good. Not much going on here. Halloween was good. Thanksgiving was good and Christmas was good as well. I just received my Christmas present from my man. Every 2 years he upgrades my gadgets. 4 years ago he bought me  a kindle, 2 years ago a tablet. and yesterday…. with some of his tax refund, a chrome book. 🙂 I am over the moon with joy !! I love this thing. I don’t have to wait to use the computer. My tablet keyboard was getting a little bit lazy and if you have ever typed anything out on a screen you know how annoying it can be.

Now here is where I show you all thing things I’ve made in the past few months…….

LOL There isn’t much to show. I’ve been reading. I have been abusing my library card like crazy. Since late October, once the Halloween orders were finished , I’ve been working on a Once Upon a Time c2c blanket by 3amgrace designs.

Other projects that are still in the early stages and not worth uploading a picture over are a baby Cactus cardigan and a baby tank top. They are gonna be so cute! I think this year I will devote my yarn stash to making baby items. Eventually one of my younger cousins will have a baby.. or two. 🙂 And my etsy shop needs an update!

YOP8 wk 3

I hope you all had a great week. ❤

Again my week had been consumed of reading and very little crocheting. I finished another kawaii cuddler. I might add legs.

As I was taking these pictures it was slightly raining. Its been a bit of a gloomy day.

Up next is Frida’s Flowers blanket.

I am making this blanket again. The colors I was using for the other ( that I turned into a table runner, see that here) , I wasn’t feeling . So take 2 here we go.

Colors so far are Bright Orchid, Aran and Rouge. Half hexagons are done. For part 2 I am using Paradise and Papaya.

I am skipping to part 6 so I can make the blanket from the inside out. I am not sure what colors I should use for the flower… could you help be decide ? 🙂

The only difference is round 3 and 6. the left I used Papaya and the right I used Lavender.
