YOP7 week 49

49 ? Already ? Good Lord… Its like having a birthday. You dread it but when its here , you’re happy 🙂

Ive been reading alot the past few weeks. So nothing much has touched my needles or hooks.

In between reading and life I completed another square for Divine Debris’s  Afghan cal. It was even featured on her Instagram story 🙂  🙂

Another FO is the Twilight Stripes Fat bottom bag by Left in Knots. I really love Red Hearts Stripes. All the projects Ive made come out awesome. Must. buy. More!!!!!

For WIPS : I have a sweater.  🙂 Pics next week. And other updates that I have forgotten about.

Now I am off to read some more. 🙂

Before you go…. I have a few book recommendations for you…. The Wife Between Us and Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine.

 

 

YOP7 week 43

I need to get back to A year of Projects. I think its the cause of my depression 😦

ugh.. if it was only that simple.

Ive been making stuff with yarn. Not a whole lot of completed projects to show…

Boyfriend hat

from left to right… Boyfriend hat, Embossed Hexagon, Spiral flower .

All are half finished. And all are part of my stash slim down. Patterns are easy and well written. The embossing is new to me and I want to make a few more hexes and then make a bag. I am not sure what I will do with the flower. Add it to a hat ?  And the boyfriend hat is getting donated.

For my FO’s..

A Milkshake Kawaii Cuddler by 3amgracedesigns . I also made the Television Kawaii Cuddler, i just forgot to take a picture of it.  And a shark mug cozy, cabled crown beanie and Animal Crackers bunny hat.

 

Updates on the FRIENDS blanket, Grease blanket and Sophie’s Universe will be this week plus a sneak peak of a project I am restarting.

YOP 7 week 30

Wow its been a while since I posted for A year of Projects. Ive been sorta busy. I was up to my elbows with pink yarn making Pink Pussy hats for the past few months. I asked all my customers to send me pictures and I hope I get a bunch 🙂  Karen sent me one last week… 🙂

Other than them I’ve made other hats, scarves and a cute little elephant…

YOP7 week 22

With making the Sophia’s Universe blanket and having no idea what to make , I haven’t made much in the past few weeks.

Messy bun beanies are just so fun to make. And even if they dont sell in my shop, at least I’ll will wear them. Using up some of the many , many skeins of Stitch Studio by Nicole. ❤

this one is my fave.

 

I made this Sample Stitch Cowl with 2 skeins of the Lunar tides by Stitch Studio by Nicole. I am obsessed with this yarn!!

And for something new.. Boot cuffs! I need to get me some mid calf boots. I have so many boot cuff patterns saved on ravelry. I may make this a Sock monkey set.. hats, mitts and the cuffs. They have front post stitches so I love them ..lol I love the Front and back post stitches look. I accidentally made these too long, by one row. Still cute!

As for my Sophia blanket, I am no where close to being done. I am on part 5 ( out of 21 ).  I want to be done by January 1st so I can move on to my next Big Quarterly YOP stash slim down project 🙂 Maybe I will have an update post this week.  Below is the latest Instagram update. Part 4.

I think my next one will be using stonewashed colors. Vanna White has great colors.

 

YOP7 week 19

Its been so long since I’ve posted. Halloween is over , thank goodness. It was a crazy October.

A few ups and downs. The sweater I was knitting came out like crap, but my customer still wanted it. It was wearable, I just didnt like how it came out.

I missed crocheting and knitting for fun. Once I was done with orders I went to my new yarn basket … all the yarn I bought from A.C. Moore, And I made a Jazzy Striping Scarf  . Which I turned in to an infinity scarf. I used Red Hearts Stripes in Flamenco Stripe colorway. I regret only buying one. I LOVE this colorway! (btw, Jill got some hair 🙂 )

This cowl I made in September and forgot to post it in a YOP post. Pattern is called Round Shell Stitch cowl.  Yarn used : Red Heart Medley in Eclectic. Which has been discontinued 😦

In the beginning of October before the Halloween rush, I was able to start the Sophie’s Universe blanket. I did parts 1 and 2 now I am on part 3. round 20. I will be writing up its own post for each part with colors I am using.

This basket cover I made last night. It started as a hat but I wanted to use the entire skein so I made a basket cover. The yarn I used was Stitch Studio by Nicole. Lunar Tides in the Multi/cool colorway.

In non yarn news… Last weekend my fiance and I spent the weekend in Mystic Ct.. like we did a few years ago. Ate at Mystic Pizza Finally!!!! I loved their pizza , Jon not so much. ( he sucks anyway..lol ) We stayed at the Howard Johnson(again) . Since our last stay they updated the rooms. they are so pretty. I loved their aqua wall color ❤
