Almost half way people !!:)
Lets start this week with Jon and my new favorite restaurant: The Jealous Monk in Mystic Village, Mystic CT . I think its a Belgian place. I am so picky I ordered a salad ( Backyard Picnic… iceberg lettuce with blue cheese dressing with cucumbers, carrots , bacon and radish ) and the Belgian frites (french fries) and Jon had a pulled pork sandwich with the frites. We played Connect Four ( yup they have games there too) until the food came. Them We headed in to the village to see some of the lights .. but it was too cold to fully enjoy waling around. Here are some pics of our visit..
This week was a bit productive win the hat department… I finished 5 hats…. 2 knitted and 3 ponytail/messy bun hats. Yes I jumped on the band wagon with the new trend. I am a ponytail wearer so I love these hats.

Five hats! Wow! Look at you go! I like those ponytail hats too – someday I have to stop getting my hair cut to chin length and let it grow long enough for a ponytail!

The food sounded great and the lights are so pretty. You go girl with your hats! I love the pony tail hats. I wear my hair in a bun so I wonder if that would work for me? Someone was really thinking!

I love the fun names that pubs often have – and this sounded like a fun night out. I wish I thought to take pictures of when I/we are just out and about. Your post inspires me to at least try to snap a few the next time I have the opportunity. Cute hats! And what a clever idea for someone with long hair.
